Your own kitchen. Go to to find recipes and tofu is in almost any supermarket or health-food store, in the frozen foods or the organic aisle. Also, grow a garden! Fresh green beans are my favorite! All you need to do is mash up your compost heap in an area where there’s sun, then put in some plants and turn on the sprinkler every day.

It really depends on what city you live in. Try networking with other vegetarians in your city/community, look in public library bulletin boards. If there’s a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s, they’re good resources for vegetarian food too.

there is not a thing wrong with eating meat. it says in the scriptures now the spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times should should depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, having their conscience seared with a hot iron, forbiding to marry and comanding to abstain from meats. where’s the beef, most of it is in texas, go down there and enjoy a good barbeque.

Sal’s Steakhouse serves a it’s beef with a killer salad topped with bacon bits and ham. The baked potato is loaded with bacon and cheese. It’s sooooo good. So good.

I’ve been a vegetarian for several years and traveled all over Europe, North America and North Africa without eating meat. The worst place for vegetarians is fast food restaurants where you’re usually stuck eating a pre-made salad, although McDonalds in Sweden has Veggie McNuggets!

There are so many great things you can eat when you’re a vegetarian.

    - Pasta dishes
    - Pizza
    - Risotto
    - Salads
    - Curries
    - Pakoras, samosas, etc.
    - Burritos, tacos and enchiladas
    - Veggie burgers
    - Soups and stews
    - Stir fry
    - Grilled vegetable and cheese plates

If you see something that looks good on a menu but is served with meat (say, taco salad) just tell your server you’re a vegetarian and ask them to replace the meat with extra grilled vegetables! If you’re not happy with the restaurant’s vegetarian selection, tell the management at the end of your meal.

Depending on where you live there must be someplace which has veg food. Look on the internet for restaurants in your area that are veg.

Quiznos and Subway both have vegetarian subs. Ruby Tuesday, TGIFridays, Hard Rock Cafe, Backyard Burger all carry meat free burgers or vegetarian sandwiches. Mexican, Italian, and other ethnic-style restaurants carry tons of meat-free options.

Good luck in switching to a vegetarian diet!

Well, since I don’t know where you live, there are always restaraunts around that offer vegetarian choices, maybe not all of them, but a few. For instance, at Burger King you can always ask them to put a Boca patty instead of a beef patty on your burger, or at Red Robin there’s some entrees like Chick’n fingers which is a vegetarian substitute that tastes like chicken or a Garden Burger which is very delicious. Also, if you went to get a salad, I’m pretty sure you could order one without the chicken. But anyhow, not eating out that much is way healthier, so try stocking up on vegetarian foods at the grocery. Try vegetables and fruit, and buy things like Boca patties, Vegetarian deli slices, and if you allow yourself this… fish. There’s many more choices at the grocery store than a standard fast food place, just look and you’ll find them. Hope I helped you. =)

There is a terrific restaurant in Baltimore called One World Cafe. They have two locations. They specialize in vegan and veggie foods that are just delicious. They also have alcoholic drinks and their service is pretty good. You got to have dessert!! It really is a great place to eat.
    Another great place is:
Flying Avocado Cafe, 10210 S. Dolfield Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117
More healthier style restaurants are opening up.
If your not in Baltimore, then you should try some Indian Restaurants. You’ll find some really good food there as well. MMMMMM!!

Great decision it depends on where you live. Where I live there are a lot of restaurants with only salad bars. Order lots of salads, every restaurant serves salad. People always say that you need meat for the source of protein. Not true at all. One stalk of broccoli equals the amount of protein found in meat. Broccoli alone maybe isn’t good. But take a nice pasta, add alfredo sauce and broccoli and you have yourself a healthy meal. Try Farmer Joes, or any health food store. Any regular grocery store has vegetarian burgers and other things you just have to look for it ****. This is just a different way of living. You can’t stick to junk food just because it doesn’t have any meat because it’s not good for your health. You have to be healthy ****. Good luck if you ever need to talk I am also a vegetarian and would love to talk to a fellow vegetarian.
