I am totally confused, yesterday I asked Whats for dinner tonight? under cooking and recipes?

Badkitty asked:

I received a violation for that question. I honestly don’t understand, how was that question in any way a violation????
Wow! Thanks, for all the answers, I really didn’t intend to chat and some of the questions I have seen on here are really inapproiate. In the future I will be more careful on how I word my Q A’s.

It’s considered to be chatting. If you had asked a question with an objectively correct answer, such as asking for a recipe for home-made raisin bread, you’d be OK but you’re encouraging people to just talk.

Another TC said that, basically, if we ask a question where only we care what the answer is, then it’s chatting. You finding out what other people are having for dinner isn’t likely the kind of answer that I’ll seek out in the archives.

They’re really anti-chatting here. I lost my first account with over 102,000 points that it had taken me over a year to earn just because I tended to ask too many chatting questions.

That question is considered chatting, a violation. It is not a question to seek or share knowledge with the public but just a question for the individual asking it.

That is and illegal question. Because, criminals use simple words like that do complete a lawful act. It is the same as going to an airplane station and yelling out bomb. scaring everyone and alarming the cops with no serious crime.
